Hi, I'm Thanh Nguyen. I’m a Vietnamese-Finnish architect based in the beautiful city of Tampere, Finland. I work on projects through all phases, from concept to completion, combining creative design thinking with solid technical skills in BIM modelling and on-site coordination. Alongside architecture, I’ve been involved in photography, real estate marketing, customer service, teaching design, and visual design, including branding and UI-inspired systems.I particularly enjoy DIY and woodworking—they keep me hands-on and creative, often blending physical making with digital design and visualisation.Architecture and design have always been my lifelong passions, and my philosophy is to create spaces and visuals that are sustainable, adaptable, and user-focused.

My architectural work spans all phases, from concept design to BIM modeling, shop drawings, and on-site coordination. I have experience with a variety of project types, including housing, hotels, hospitals, museums, and other complex developments. I am particularly interested in projects set in historical urban contexts, where introducing new value must respect highly sensitive cultural and historical environments. These projects are both challenging and fascinating to me.
Photography has been a lifelong passion, helping me slow down, observe, appreciate, and interpret the world in my own way. Each photograph is a form of visual storytelling, where I aim to capture a sense of space, the emotion of light, and the connection between people and nature.Alongside architecture, I work as a freelance photographer, taking on personal, editorial, and creative projects.

Working with wood has been a hands-on way for me to explore creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship. Each project is an opportunity to experiment with materials, forms, and techniques, turning ideas into functional and meaningful objects. From small personal projects to larger designs, I enjoy sharing my process and results as part of my creative journey.
